I did it! I made a website, Facebook page, converted my personal Insta to my professional one…
One HUGE goal is starting. The first steps are done.
You may remember I initially set my goal of setting up my photography business by January of 2019, but that as I sat in my apartment angered (by a situation that is not connected, nor is it relevant), I thought “why the hell am I waiting?”.
For a short time, I decided to make photography a business. I needed money.
Then, I got a new job that supplemented that income I was hoping to get from photography. This led to a very casual start and minimal effort to expand my clientele (aka my friends and family). Recently, I’ve decided to forgo the “business” aspect and just be someone who will probably still take your photos.
I don’t want to rely on photography for money. I just want to take pictures and edit them in fun ways.
This still leads to people asking me to take their photos (even their weddings?!), so I plan to continue to further my skills, but it’ll be because I want to and not because I need to.
That being said, feel free to browse through my photography blog posts. I’ve dropped my portfolio below, too!
