About me.

I’m Jen. Though, I’m sure you guessed that. I’ve technically been a writer for a very long time. I’ve worked as a copywriter, but it’s been a while since I’ve spent my days writing. I’ve been raising my family with my amazing husband, working on other pursuits, and living life. I’m so ready to put all my thoughts, stories, creations, and adventures into one place.

First, I am all about family. I have constructed a life that lets me work from home and travel as much as possible. With four kids and a busy life, it’s not always easy, but my husband is always on board for my crazy travel ideas (even if there are moments when I have clearly been far more ambitious than realistic). I would travel and travel and travel if life permitted, but as it stands, we travel as much as we can. Close, far, doesn’t matter, as long as we are getting to explore somewhere new and enjoy new adventures. I could go camping an hour away or hop a flight to Paris – I love it all. As far as adventures go, let’s just say we almost bought a castle (but that’s a story for another day).

In the vein of biting off more than I can chew, I love to cook, bake, fix things (YouTube tutorial permitting), garden, and create. I love learning about new things. I am a dedicated reader and an adventurer at heart.
